We welcome young people from all parts of our community. Scouting is open to girls and boys from any background. Demand for places in our group is high and we are limited by the capacity of our volunteer Leaders. We have a range of volunteer roles, so if you are interested in helping then Contact Us

At the moment there is a waiting list for all our sections. To help us manage this we have an admissions policy which can be found on this page. The key points are as follows:
- Young people can be added to our waiting list from age 4
- Priority is given to children of leaders and executive committee members in our group (or other scout groups)
- Please only join a waiting list for one scout group

If you get a place in one of our sections, the section leader will usually invite you via email and your young person can come along to a meeting or two to try it out. They won’t need uniform until they are confident they want to join and we will then arrange a short ceremony to welcome them called an investiture ceremony.
