What is the WSJ?

The WSJ is an international Jamboree being held in South Korea in 2023. Where scouts from all over the world come together for 12 days and learn about different countries and learn amazing new skills. During the Jamboree I will make new friends, try once in a lifetime activities and learn about different cultures.

From the UK there are multiple units, making 4,000 Scouts going from the UK. The unit I am going with is Unit 18, the Cambridgeshire Unit. All together from around the world there will around 40,000 young people attending.

The Jamboree is going to be held in a place in Korea called Saemangeum which is in the south west of Korea. To the West of Saemangeum lays the Yellow Sea.

Here is a video explaining a bit more about the WSJ and it shows what kind of activities I could hope to be doing.
